Privacy
Your data stays yours
NeuroShift is built to be private by default. Everything happens on your device — there are no servers storing your information and no accounts to create.
Local-first storage
Your profile, puzzle history, ratings, and settings are stored only in your browser's localStorage.
No tracking
There are no accounts, no analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers collecting your behavior.
No data leaves your device
Nothing you do is transmitted to a server. The adaptive engine runs entirely on your machine.
You're in control
Clear everything at any time from Settings → Danger Zone, or by clearing your browser data.
What we store
NeuroShift saves your display name, age range, goals, training preferences, puzzle attempt history, adaptive skill ratings, achievements, daily challenge records, and app settings. All of this is kept in your browser using localStorage.
What we don't do
We do not require an account or email. We do not run advertising or behavioral trackers. We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party, because your data never leaves your device in the first place.
How your data is used
Your data powers the features you see: the adaptive difficulty engine, your cognitive profile, analytics, recommendations, achievements, and streaks. It is read and written locally to personalize your experience.
Clearing your data
You can permanently erase everything from Settings → Danger Zone → Reset all data. Clearing your browser's site data will also remove it. Because there is no server copy, a reset is complete and irreversible.
Changes to this policy
If the data practices ever change, this page will be updated to reflect them. Since the app is local-first by design, any future changes will continue to prioritize keeping your information on your own device.
